Accounts and tries
Count your first try. For firms with a one-time price, each extra try means buying a new evaluation. Resets go in their own box below.
For firms billed monthly, the months you pay before you pass. This replaces “tries” for them.
Paying to restart your evaluation after you break a rule. If a firm doesn’t sell resets, we count it as buying a new evaluation. Some monthly firms give a free reset each month.
Optional. If you lose a funded (PRO) account, Take Profit Trader lets you buy it back without a new Test, up to 3 times. No new activation fee.
Promo code (optional)

Type 20% for percent off, $50 for dollars off, or waived. A plain number means %. Blank = list price. Check the promo’s own terms: on most monthly plans a code covers the first month only, and codes usually do not apply to resets.

Only if the promo says it keeps applying.
The one-time fee some firms charge when you pass. Some promos waive it.
Off by default: resets usually don’t take promo codes (Topstep’s help page says codes are for the first purchase, not resets). Turn on only if the firm says so.
More options: data and TradingView costs, extra months, test payouts, pass rate
If you don’t pass yet
Monthly firms keep charging until you pass or cancel. One-time prices aren’t affected.
Other costs
Optional, for example TradingView or paid market data. Topstep’s extra market data is $38/month on its pricing page.
Added once, not per account.
Try some payouts (optional)
Per funded account, in order. Leave blank for none. This is your guess, not a prediction.
Per funded account. Used only to show how many months until you break even.
Pass rate (optional)
Your guess. A firm’s published rate is a past average, not a prediction for you.
USD. Taxes are not included. Prices are the firms’ list prices, minus any promo you enter.

    Show the math

The full fee breakdown for each firm, line by line.

Net result = your entered payouts after the firm’s split (and any payout cap or minimum) minus total fees. It is your own inputs run through arithmetic, not a forecast. Labels such as “third-party” mean the number behind that line was not confirmed on the firm’s own page; see the sources table below.

    About these numbers
The inputs are your assumptions, not predictions. What you type is up to you. We just add it to each firm’s published fees and rules. It’s not a forecast, and there’s no “expected profit” figure. Most people who buy evaluations don’t pass or get paid.
More details: cost per funded account, getting paid, rules and sources

    Cost per funded account

“Average attempts = 1 ÷ pass rate” is arithmetic on a rate. It is not a forecast for you. Published figures may count accounts, not people, and firms define “pass” differently. Free reset credits are not applied in this panel.

What it takes to get paid

These are the firm’s published requirements, not what you will reach. “Payouts at the first cap to equal your fees” is size arithmetic only: it says how large your fees are compared with one payout, not that you will get one. Most traders never receive a payout.

    Rules and sources

Every firm number below has a label, a source link and the date we read it. Official read on the firm’s own page. Third-party read only on a third-party page. Unverified not confirmed, conflicting or an assumption.

What if…? (I passed, I reset, PRO reset, instant funding)

    What if…?

Pick a situation. The ledger adds up everything spent and everything paid out, step by step, and shows the payout still needed to break even. The starting numbers are examples, not typical results: replace them with your own. Arithmetic only; not a forecast and not trading advice.

Promo codes come from “Promo code” in section 2 and apply to every journey.

Pass and payout rates the firms publish

Pass and payout rates the firms publish

Most traders do not pass evaluations or receive payouts. These are each firm’s own figures; they are not independently audited, firms count different things, and they do not predict your results. We do not claim any trader will make money.

    Before you rely on this

Your inputs are assumptions. Attempts, resets, discount, payouts and pass rate are numbers you choose. The calculator runs arithmetic on them and on each firm’s published fees. Outputs are not predictions, not a forecast and not advice. There is no “expected profit” anywhere on this page.

Simulated results: Prop-firm evaluations and funded accounts are simulated. Payouts are paid by the firm from its own funds, not from exchange trading.

These results are based on simulated or hypothetical performance results that have certain inherent limitations. Unlike the results shown in an actual performance record, these results do not represent actual trading. Also, because these trades have not actually been executed, these results may have under-or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated or hypothetical trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to these being shown.

Estimates only: Fees, rules, splits and promotions change often and may not apply to your account; confirm everything on the firm’s own site before paying. Every firm number shows a label (official, third-party or unverified), a source link and the date we read it. Third-party and unverified numbers were not confirmed on the firm’s own page.
