Why PropFeeDecoder exists

PropFeeDecoder is a free calculator and newsletter about what futures prop-firm evaluations really cost and what the rules say. No trade calls, and no promises that anyone will make money.

The advertised price on a prop-firm evaluation is rarely what you end up paying. PropFeeDecoder lays out the fees, resets and rules plainly, so you can decide with your eyes open.

Who we are

PropFeeDecoder is written and maintained by the PropFeeDecoder team at Lighthouse Media, LLC.

We’ve traded evaluations at Take Profit Trader, Tradeify and Topstep ourselves.

How it’s made

We read each firm’s own pages, record the numbers with a link and the date we checked, and re-check them regularly. Research and drafting are assisted by software tools; a person on the team reviews and edits everything before it’s published.

How the site is funded
